Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Angel Wei is a second-year Master’s student in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University. With a foundation in music therapy and hands-on clinical research, her interests center on early infant attachment and suicide intervention in young adults. She currently works as a coder in the Communication Science Lab at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, focusing on microanalytic analysis of mother-infant interactions. In addition, she contributes to research on visual processing and perceptual organization. Drawing from experience across inpatient and rehabilitation settings, Angel is committed to integrating neuroscience, developmental psychology, and therapeutic practice to better support individuals across the lifespan.
