Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Adelaide is a PsyD student in the Ferkauf Adult Clinical Psychology PsyD program. She received her B.A. in sustainable development from Columbia University where she conducted climate science and social impact research. Prior to Ferkauf, Adelaide worked in business operations and data analytics within renewable energy consulting and tech organizations. She is interested in researching the connection between the therapeutic alliance and patient outcomes as well as the iatrogenic effects of dominant suicide response models. She is currently contributing to a mixed-methods case study analysis of treatment deterioration and patient-therapist interpersonal dynamics. In her free time, Adelaide enjoys metalworking and reading.
