Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Kate is a current graduate student at Teachers College in the Clinical Psychology program. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the College of William & Mary, and her Masters of Arts in Liberal Arts from Tulane University. After completing school, she worked in a community mental health clinic in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Her research interests include mental health services for individuals with severe mental illness (SMI), multidimensional therapeutic modalities, systems of care delivery, and suicide prevention. Kate is also very interested in how psychological research can inform and support mental health advocacy and policy. In her free time, Kate enjoys hot yoga, long walks, and spending time with friends and her cat, Minnie.
