Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Lucy is a fourth-year student in the Adult Clinical Psy.D. Program. She received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Music from Harvard University. Lucy’s research focuses on factors that enhance therapy processes and training, and she is currently working on a new intervention to reduce post-discharge suicidal risk among inpatients. Lucy has also held clinical positions across settings, including the Pratt Institute of Art, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and Therapists of New York, where she has grown passionate about supporting complex, high-risk patients with personality pathology and trauma. In her spare time, Lucy likes to sing, practice yoga, and try to find the best slice of pizza in New York.
