Noam Schechter is currently studying psychology at Yeshiva University. He has a wide interest in various fields of psychology, but is particularly interested in suicide prevention, assessment, and the cognitive aspects involved. He is fascinated by the interplay of AI and psychology, particularly what we can learn about our own cognitive processes from large language models, and working to understand how AI can improve prevention, treatment, and access to care. Noam enjoys reading, traveling, and meeting new people wherever he goes.
