Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Pengyu “Jimmy” Chen is the current research coordinator for the Bloch-Elkouby Lab. He is an ardent supporter for digitizing and scaling mental health interventions and preventions, adapting them for marginalized and disadvantaged populations. His interests include ecological momentary assessment and intervention, large language models of artificial intelligence, and training of trainers. Jimmy is also a proud graduate of Furman University, SC. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2022. He also earnded his master’s degree in clinical psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
