Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Pengyu “Jimmy” Chen is a current graduate student in the clinical psychology program at Teachers College, Columbia University. He is an ardent supporter for digitizing and scaling mental health interventions and preventions, adapting them for marginalized and disadvantaged populations. His interests include ecological momentary assessment and intervention, large language models of artificial intelligence, and training of trainers. Jimmy is also a proud graduate of Furman University, SC. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2022. In the lab, Jimmy is currently working on research in AI and suicide prevention.
