Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Talia is a PsyD student in the Ferkauf Adult Clinical Psychology PsyD program. She received her B.A. in psychology from Barnard College of Columbia University, where she conducted research on pediatric obsessive-compulsive disorder and social psychology. Before enrolling at Ferkauf, Talia worked in crisis support at an adolescent intensive outpatient program and as a cognitive-behavioral and exposure coach at an OCD and anxiety treatment program. She is interested in researching deterioration and attrition in psychotherapy, the therapeutic alliance, and new treatments for high-risk individuals. In her free time, Talia enjoys crocheting.
