Bloch-Elkouby Lab for Suicide Prevention and Psychotherapy Research

Theo is a PsyD student in the Ferkauf Adult Clinical Psychology PsyD program. He received his B.A. in psychology and computer science from Columbia University, where he researched social support in couples and its effect on individual and relational well-being. He supported individuals grappling with mental and emotional challenges as a peer listener through Columbia’s Peer Listening Service, Nightline. Theo’s research interests include the Suicide Crisis Syndrome, viewed through a multicultural lens, specifically focusing on racial trauma.
